So we had our check up today. In a nutshell me and baby are doing great! I weigh 170 which I thought was a little high meaning I gained 8 pounds this last month but the CRNM said that it was fine. I personally think it has to do with Easter candy and Perry's birthday. So I could definitely cut out the handfuls of sugar I have been feeding myself, especially when I have my glucose tolerance test next month! Blood pressure 110 over 74. The belly measures 24 cm which is interesting to me that the cm measure exactly with what week your on. Crazy! Baby is transverse and we heard the beloved heartbeat; 155 bpm. The baby kept kicking the doppler lol. I say we because it was the first time I brought Grant to an appointment. It was a great day to do it too because he got to sleep in and eat a great breakfast no rush. Then I was all prepared with snacks and toys. He was quite the angel. I think he would have been really bad if the appointment was any earlier because that would have meant a rush or in the car breakfast and possibly waking him up too. So it was fantastic. I don't think I will bring him next time because they will be doing a blood draw and when he came with Perry to the appointment with me Grant freaked out when they poked me. So actually he has been but I just was by my self this time. I was kind of worried because when he came last time he was all over the place. Quite the contrast.
These are just some cute pictures of Grant in the last couple weeks.
I'm selling this car seat and Grant wanted in it. He kept saying "Grant's car seat". He must remember it.
Grants over 2 now and he barely goes above the allowed weight and height!
I was thinking of selling this one too but was reading online about it and tried it out with a baby doll and it works pretty well. Guess I'm keeping it.
Grant wanted to be a part of the photo shoot.
Anyway the fun part was when Grant got to hear the heart beat too. After that Grant said, "Baby's heartbeat sound, whoa whoa whoa whoa!" It was so cute! So here is a video demonstration:
