So as I said before we went up to Portland where Amber and Jason live. We ate at a ward camp out activity. Had a couple of girl's nights while the boys went out as well. Went to downtown and went to this sand festival thing. We went to the Zoo, which I had never been too. And of course Trey was finally adopted, which for the previous post's sake, he wouldn't have been sealed if he wasn't adopted yet. I also had the privilage to spend some good girl time with one of my best girlies Heather from California, who was visiting in Portland at the same time. It was so nice to see her! I have a picture proving we saw each other. I was upset when I forgot to take a picture of us. But someone else caught one.

Pretending something was hilarious
Petting a snake! lol I just noticed I'm holding his hand down lol.
First "train" ride.
Discovered how much he loves his bumbo in his old age lol.
So we got to go to Medford, Or. This was super duper exciting because I hadn't been for about 5 years, plus I hadn't seen any of my cousins for that long too! Well actually I saw a couple over Christmas in AZ, but I had no clue they would be there too! It was fun!
Aunt Lisa took us on a hike up a mountain called Roxy I think. We went swimming. We went blueberry picking oh so early! But it was totally worth it. I am kind of like a "mini me" of my mom. Which I'm not really ashamed of at all because my mom is awesome. But anywho, she loves to fruit pick and we went to a blueberry patch every summer as a kid. So I was just so erking to go and bring back some memories. It may not have been the same place but it was still blueberry picking. Fresh blueberries just cannot be beat. I have nevered like store bought berries ever. The fact that blue berry picking, and all fruit picking for that matter is so abundant in OR makes me want to move there someday. I need to start making a list of things I would like around where Perry and I will settle. Anyway, blueberry picking. I wasn't planning on going but Grant woke up when Megan did to go so we went. Grant ate every berry he picked. He may have contributed one or two to the bucket lol. We also fed some horses next to my grandparents house.
On the way.
He wasn't happy the whole time mind you.
Tired Grandma, and Proof that Grant CAN fall asleep while in the car. It is definitely a rare occurrence.

Happy family at the Medford Temple
We went up to Portland, which I will talk about in the next post, but to keep with the theme of Medford, we drove back down to Medford after being in Portland for a few days and Trey was sealed to my sister and brother in law Amber and Jason Hall. So now Trey is eternally theirs. Its amazing what the spirit can do to make you know how special some one is. That's how I felt once Trey was sealed. Next stop...my house!
