Carly is 1!!!

I can hardly believe my baby girl is 1 already! Grant's 1st year drug on and on and Carly's has flown by. I have heard that is common among parents with more than one child. So I expect the next baby's life to fly even faster. Its weird. Carly is a delight. I love her so much and she just makes me so happy. When Grant would whine and cry I would get stressed and anxious. When Carly does, it makes me smile because she is so cute. Grant gets cuter the older he is. Today I was about to tell him to step away because I didn't want him watching my video during alone time since it wasn't exactly for his age group and he just looked at me and batted his eye lashes with the most adorable smile and I said, "You are so cute!" so now every time he wants something or asks me for something he starts blinking and looking at me lol. He's trying to work "it" I can tell. lol.
Anyway, so Carly's birthday party was a lot of fun. To preface though, the party looks simple and easy to set up but it took all day!!!!!! It deserves exclamation points because I was so exhausted by the end of cleaning up and dishes. It also blew over a vase I had the branches in and broke it, then it down-poured on everything, but alas when the party started it was overcast and nice and then sunny and great temperatures and weather to be outside. Two great families joined us for the party.  Another family left a present and couldn't make it as well as a couple other families. I think a lot of people were out of town. They missed a good one. Too bad. I throw awesome parties!! I have a passion for planning and putting together themes so those of you who feel like "oh man, we should do more for our kids", its all because I just love to do it. The only reason. If I didn't love planning parties and throwing them we would have basic family cake and ice cream parties with no decorations or activities.
In honor of Carly's birthday week we went to Thanksgiving Point Farm Country on $2 Tuesday. On Carly's birthday we went to the Splash pad at the Riverwoods in Provo, UT. Then later we picked up daddy from work and went to taco bell dinner (she really likes cheese roll ups), then to McDonald's for a kiddie cone, which she had a monkey's grasp of and wouldn't let go, and then we played at their play place. When we got home I gave her a mini cupcake with a candle and did the little happy birthday song, she enjoyed her cupcake, and then off to bed.
Her party was on that Saturday a couple days after her birthday. We did a Birdbath birthday party and had the kids play in our little pools, and slide, and the older kids made bird masks. Then we ate some dinner which was worm dogs (hot dogs cut in slices and boiled to look like worms), baked beans, and rainbow fruit kabobs. Then we had the birthday cake which was worms in dirt cookies in cupcake containers, and opened presents. Carly loves the water and love birds so we combined the two for the bird bath theme. I found a person who had several free party printables for the party. She got a my little pony horse, 2 cute dresses, and a bottle to sippy cup. We are working on the transition. They were all perfect gifts. We are glad we spent a fun evening with great people.
Carly has been trying to stand up with out support of anything. She still falls and is determined to stand up every time she falls. She is realizing the joy of walking with my hands as support. She is drinking just milk now and we are working on just using a sippy cup. She is a joy, easy to get her to smile and laugh. She follows Grant around and tries to play with him. She dances by twisting back and forth and bobbing her head. She claps when she's happy. Reads books to her self and thinks its hilarious when a book puppet moves. She says ball, meows, says nana for food, meh for milk, boom, mama, dada, she cleans up and dumps things out, she loves to be outside, she loves birds of course. She is all around silly. We love her and enjoy every moment.
She had her shots and well check today. She weighs 19lbs, a whopping 5 lbs since her check up at 9 months. This makes her in the 17th percentile, that's a quite a bit higher than the 1st percentile. Her height is 29.5 inches, which is the 63rd percentile! And her head is 44.4cm which is the 30th percentile. She's growing! Now some eye candy:

I told him how milk comes from cows from right there and told him to milk the cow. He wouldn't touch it. lol.

Carly and Grant loves the animals. The animals kept licking her fingers lol.

That horse kept trying to nibble her fingers. Then he snarfed on us twice.

She loved the ducks of course. The one animal that we can see with out paying at our own duck pond.

On the tractor ride.

Cute baby cow nursing.

This one's for you Grandpa Jim, since you love cows and Grant.

Birthday outfit! Thanks Amber!

Riverwoods splash pad is way better than the Pioneer park one. It had practically no one there whereas the Pioneer park one is always way to packed.

Very serious ice cream business. Too good to stop for a smiley picture. First ice cream cone.

Party pics!

I didn't notice my pic was so blurry.

Worms in dirt cupcakes and "So TWEET of you to come!" toppers.

Bird decor.

Bird mask decorating.

Worm dogs.

Mmmm cake squeezing.

In the hair. Can you believe we didn't bathe her after this lol. We kind of. We put her in a pool but still.

Little friends.

Ooops out of order picture. Grant loves feeding the animals. He thought it was hilarious!
