Grant has begun to grasp objects in his hand. Basically he is interested in toys now and I have never seen that before so it's exciting. So if you shake a toy in front of his face he will try to grab it. It takes him several tries sometimes but he gets it eventually. It is fun! Before when you shook a toy at him he would look right through it and stare at you. Which is fine because I enjoy playing with him and talking to him. But anyway he grabs things and he grabs my hair and my clothes and his own clothes. I just love watching him grow!

Awww how awesome, fun and cute is he! So homemade chocolate chips....This is what I did, but wouldn;t do again. 1 cube butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa. Melt in a glass jar that is placed in a pot of 2-3 inches of water on med-high. Mix in 12 tbl of vanilla. Pour into a pan to cool in fridge.
This is how it was supposed to be done. Same melting in a jar process. 1 cup coconut oil, 1/2 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup pure sugar cane (unprocessed sugar) or sugar cane juice. Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla. Not sure how this one would work since i didn't have the ingredients I improvised.
